Description

The international workshop on Simulation of Soil Organic Carbon Storage and Changes in Agricultural Cropland in China and Its Impact on Food Security was held from June 11 till 15, 2007, at Ghent University, Gent, Belgium. The presentations of the symposium focused on the impact of certain management practices on SOC contents and evolution of SOC as observed through field experiments and as estimated by estimated by modeling, and its effects on crop yields and hence food production. In these proceedings, the full text of each of these presentations has been collected.
